Mentorship for Doulas, Lactation Specialist Trainees, and Healthcare Professionals

The more we’re invested in supporting pregnant people and new parents, the better outcomes we’ll see in pregnancy, delivery, and newborn care. That’s why I want to mentor fellow doula and lactation trainees, to support them in their education.

I also work with hospitals, OB-GYN teams, and pediatric clinics to educate professionals on lactation, breastfeeding, latching, and feeding positions so they can better help their patients.

Healthcare consultations

I have consulted with healthcare teams and professionals at Sinai-Grace and Henry Ford hospitals in the Detroit Metro area, and would love to speak to your team. Hospitals need to maintain their accreditations, which is why I offer healthcare training for lactation, breastfeeding, and newborn care. I’m also the Community Care Coordinator at Sinai-Grace. About Nyasia

As a certified doula and lactation educator, I provide educational and emotional support birth and postpartum services to mothers and families in the Detroit area (and to anyone online). 

As a mother of three myself, a doula with nearly a decade of experience, and as a certified obstetrical surgical technician, I trust the innate wisdom every mother carries to birth their baby. It is an honor to help women create positive birth experiences and I’d love to see how I can help you.
